I’ve been watching… THE GOOD PLACE

I guess like everyone else, I’ve been watching THE GOOD PLACE. I can’t get over how interesting and unusual it has allowed itself to become – particularly for a show that is unashamedly a US network comedy. As well as some beautifully observed, laugh-out-loud jokes, it mines depths of kindness and joy while also being really, really smart. Many shows struggle to find a distinct, clear story-telling style: I feel like THE GOOD PLACE manages to find a new one every three or four episodes.
